Support Request: Startup problem "System32/net.exe blocked by group policy"

Description

Hi

our PC with Sitekiosk produces an error message everytime it boots up saying "System32/net.exe. This program is blocked by group policy. Contact your Administrator".
The message needs to be ok'd before proceeding and this is putting users off as they think they are doing something wrong or illicit.

I have added it to Sitekiosk's whitelist but that didnt change anything.

What can i do?

Many thanks,
Nils

It seems that another application or service will be started on that system which needs the net.exe. You can either stop that application from starting under the Windows SiteKiosk user or allow net.exe by creating a security exception.
The application “net.exe” is blocked by default in the SiteKiosk user account but can be allowed with the customized settings of the System Security Manager. Go to >Customized >Programs then uncheck the box to blocked net.exe. Save and test.
