Support Request: Issue with Chrome browser and add-ins

Description

Is it possible to enable/guarantee add-ins to work with the Chrome SiteKiosk browser? We have an issue where certain things only work in IE because Chrome SiteKiosk Browser either doesnt support or something blocks them. There are several issues with IE as a browser, as it's mostly developed as a second thought.

I thought maybe there is some permission setting I've missed?

Best Regards

Hello,

The Chrome Browser Skin of SiteKiosk does not use any installed Chrome Browser but a Chromium CEF Engine that will be installed with SiteKiosk.
Therefore it is not possible to use Chrome Browser Plugins in SiteKiosk.

You may first check if these certain things work generally in Chromium CEF (without plugin).
Currently, SiteKiosk 9.8.5463 uses the Chromium CEF version 81.0.4044.138 (Windows 32 bit).
Here you will find the corresponding chromium test application for download (unpack 2x and start the file cefclient.exe in the folder "Release"),
http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/cef_binary_81.3.10%2Bgb223419%2Bchromium-81.0.4044.138_windows32_client.tar.bz2

The old SiteKiosk version 9.7.5232 uses Chromium 76.0.3809.132 Windows 32 Bit. Here you can find the corresponding Chromium test application for download (unzip 2x and run the cefclient.exe in the "Release" folder) which is currently used in SiteKiosk 9.7.5232 (Chromium 76.0.3809.132 Windows 32 Bit):
http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/cef_binary_76.1.13%2Bgf19c584%2Bchromium-76.0.3809.132_windows32_client.tar.bz2

If it doesn’t work in Chromium CEF it cannot work in SiteKiosk either.

Otherwise you may provide all information how to reproduce the problem so that we can check.
