Support Request: Scroll bar issue IE/Chrome

Description

Currently we use sitekiosk for all our branch locations using a variety of different configurations, but for 2 large video walls 8x8 and 5x5 I am having scroll bar issues. The site is just a picture of the day from out bank website listed here https://www.frostbank.com/videowall. This site needs to display fullscreen with the users info listed at the bottom right with no scrollbars. I can achieve this with full screen mode using IE without sitekiosk using 89-90% zoom settings. With chrome I cannot get rid of the scrollbar. Is there a way to achieve this?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that SiteKiosk 9.7 is out of support and any references made in this post is related to the most current version (9.8 build 5547). In SiteKiosk configuration>>Start Page & Browser>>"Customize Chrome Browser" or "Advanced">>Settings, you can find the "Set default zoom property" with options, 50%, 75% 100%, etc. If you would need to set a customized figure for your zoom, then you will need to close the Configuration Editor and edit the configuration file with a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++. You can use the Find (CTRL+F) feature of the editor to look for zoom until you land on this line (about 1710-50):

 "zoom": "100%",

Simply change the numerical value to your desired zoom percentage.

 "zoom": "90%",

Note: Admin permission is needed to save files in the C:/Program Files (x86)/ folder. Any changes made to the XML values of the configuration file outside of the SiteKiosk configuration editor is done at your own risk.

Hopefully this helps.

Best regards,
Andre.
