Support Request: Browser Chromium Open or print PDF

Description

We have a problem in Sitekiosk Browser Chrome, we can not open large pdf files (for example a pdf of 226 MB). When we click on the pdf link via sitekiosk with browser-Engine Chrome Browser, it takes a lot of time 2 to 3 minutes or more then everything stops and Sitekiosk automatically restarts to return to the home page, so the file never opens. In short we cannot open or download these files.
Without SiteKiosk running, in Windows the opening is done correctly by chrome or Edge.
can you please help us?

Open your SiteKiosk configuration file with an editor (e.g. Notepad). Look for

<watchdog>
<ping-interval>30</ping-interval> 

and set the ping interval (default is 30 for 30 seconds) to something higher to prevent the watchdog from triggering the restart, e.g. start with 60.

Thank you, we will try this parameter to observe but what worries us more is especially the length of the waiting time, whereas in the Edge and Chrome browsers under windows without sitekiosk it’s fast but once started under Sitekiosk with Chrome Browser it’s very long, nothing happens when you click the link to the pdf

Provide a reproducible step-by-step scenario then, so we can run this on a test machine.

We will send you all the steps of our tests, to allow you to do the test we need you to send us your public IP address to open for you the access to the PDF files scanned heavy with us (since they are protected and normally not accessible outside).
